It's always fun to be checking in new books and getting them on the shelf quickly, which is easy to do since our library is a member of C/W MARS. The books come processed and when I attach a barcode and the library stamp, I can then add the book to the system and it hits the shelf! Usually not for long, especially with popular titles.
Some new books include Anne Tyler's Noah's Compass; Jude Deveraux's Days of Gold; Tracy Chevalier's Remarkable Creatures; T. Jefferson Parker's Iron River; and Richard Doetsch's The 13th Hour.
Good reading to begin 2010...
